Changes i wanna make

ok so basically here are some changes I want to make, but I'm not sure I explained it clearly enough during the team meeting

I want to change this:

I feel like if I do not show the characters being affectionate with each other, their friendship won't be obvious and it will lesser theme of loss and grief. I want the viewer to watch the final scene and realize that she lost a loved one forever and she is now alone, left behind, that something went wrong she now outlive a friend that left too soon. I want to make my characters more human and more likable, to have a bit more to define them than just the coward and the one who goes down the drain. She wants to rescue her friend because she loves her, but she is too scared (rightfully so) and decides to save herself instead. Everything is going to feel more concrete in the friendship seem more genuine and warm.,
